Strike Fighters 2 (ALL DLC) [NEW]
But as good as it is, I barely fly it any more because DCS World gives me nearly everything the SF series did AND has all the "missing" features like drag chutes, ejection sequences, refueling, exceptional multiplayer support, helicopters, etc. Plus it has state of the art graphics and decent VR support. Once Belsimtek releases the F-4E, my only reason to come back to SF2 is for the century series fighters and some of the Korean War types like my favorite, the F2H-2 Banshee.
Strike Fighters 2 (ALL DLC)
I don't know if you are into these PC flight Sims, but this one is pretty good. The aircraft are modeled very accurately, the cockpits are also accurate and fully functional and the graphics are all around very good. It has the fighters and attack aircraft, with the exception of the AD, that were used by the Navy and Air Force during the conflict. The bad guys are throwing AAA, Sams and Migs at you all the time. I have been flying the Crusader most of the time, and found the game simulated the flight characteristics of that plane fairly well, at least from what the pilot reports I have read over the years say. Landing aboard a carrier is also rather exciting as well. The game no longer retails for $29.99. You can find it now days for around $19.00. Contributed by Scott Scarborough

In the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct on November 1st, 2018, Masahiro Sakurai confirmed that paid DLC would be available for Ultimate. The initial wave of content comes in the form of five Challenger Pack bundles, each containing one entirely unique fighter, one stage, and several music tracks. These bundles, which are also available through a complete pack known as the Fighters Pass, had the release deadline of February 29, 2020. Additionally, Piranha Plant was available for free as a limited time early purchase bonus, and is currently available for purchase separate from the Fighters Pass. On November 6th, 2018, Sakurai announced on his Twitter account that the initial DLC line-up was finalized, and that potential fighters were proposed by Nintendo, with Sakurai passing final approval on them.[1]
During the Nintendo Direct on September 4th, 2019, Nintendo revealed that more DLC fighters were set to be in production after the first Fighters Pass, due to Ultimate's strong sales.[2] As with before, Nintendo proposed the potential fighters and Sakurai passed final approval.[3] On January 16th, 2020, Fighters Pass Vol. 2 was announced alongside Byleth, with the previous Fighters Pass retroactively being dubbed Vol. 1.[4] The Pass includes six Challenger Packs; just like in Vol. 1, each pack contains one fighter, one stage, and several music tracks.[5][6] Both Byleth and Vol. 2 were made available for purchase on January 28th, 2020. These six packs had the release deadline of December 31st, 2021. According to Sakurai, this is planned to be the last DLC released for Ultimate.[7] He also expressed caution that the DLC characters for the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 could face delay or that development could be stopped indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic; although development continued through remote working[8][9] and ultimately went smoothly, without problems[10] and concluded on October 18th, 2021. Fighters Pass Vol. 2 was originally planned to have five fighters, like the first pass, but was increased to six when Sora's inclusion was successfully negotiated for.[11]
The story focuses on the next King of Fighters tournament held after the appearance and defeat of Verse. Following Antonov's early retirement, new tournament commissioner Anastasia sends out invitations to fighters to join the tournament; the mayhem caused by Verse's powers resurrects various long-thought deceased fighters from past tournaments as well.
Chizuru Kagura gathers Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami in order to look after the seal of the snake demon Orochi. Shun'ei, a teenager with mysterious powers resembling Verse's, enters the tournament again alongside Meitenkun and Benimaru Nikaido to better understand his powers. During the tournament, they encounter a rival team led by a girl with similar powers to his own, Isla. Isla is being mentored by a woman named Dolores who wishes for her and Shun'ei to stop the appearance of more creatures like Verse, believing Ash Crimson's timetravelling in a previous tournament to have caused their appearance. However, a new creature labeled as Re Verse appears as the tournament progresses and targets the fighters, pulling them into another world. Following Re Verse's defeat, the mysterious goddess Otoma=Raga appears and attacks the teams. Upon Otoma=Raga's defeat, the fighters escape back to their world and are crowned the new King of Fighters champions.
Strike Fighters is a multi-faceted flight-simulation game that features one of the most versatile combat aircraft of all time - the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. The core of the game is traditional combat flight-simulation - players take command of a thundering jet fighter and engage in aerial dogfight with enemy fighters while seeking and destroying ground targets. The game is set in the 1960s - when aviation technology was still primitive, but advancing at a rapid pace. Some missiles and guided weapons are available later in the game, but true to history, they remain somewhat unreliable and inaccurate. Most air battles involve visceral, in-your-face gunfights, and your skill at outmaneuvering your opponents remains the key to victory and survival.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's fifth and final Fighters Pass character is Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but there's still more DLC on the horizon. During today's big reveal stream, game director Masahiro Sakurai reconfirmed that another wave of DLC fighters are already in development for the title.
Six more characters in total will be released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Sakurai revealed--one more than the first wave of DLC. All six will arrive by December 31, 2021. According to Sakurai, the fighters have already been chosen, although he hasn't shared any hints as to who they'll be.
Releasing alongside Byleth is a new stage: Garreg Mach Monastery. Like other DLC fighters, Byleth also comes with an assortment of new Spirits to unlock, as well as 11 additional music tracks taken from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. If you don't have the first Fighters Pass, you can pick up the Byleth challenger pack individually for $6 USD.
Battle Mode is the main mode of the game, during which up to four fighters (or three CPUs) can choose from unlocked characters and Copy Abilities and battle on a stage. Players may compete in a team battle or a free-for-all.
Multiple modes and options mean everyone can play. In Smash, select your stages, set the rules and play with up to eight players total. Or, create a team of three or five fighters and take on your opponent's squad one by one in Squad Strike. And that's just the beginning!
Spirits let you simulate battles between characters from more series than ever before, so see how many you can collect! Fighters can join forces with spirits to enhance their powers. While primary spirits enhance fighters' stats, support spirits lend them additional skills. Once the primary spirit and support spirits are set, your fighter's all powered up!
