Vascular tumors such as meningiomas, hemangioblastomas, hemangiopericytomas, juvenile angiofibroma, and esthesioneuroblastomas all have large blood supply. In conjunction with tumor surgeons in neurosurgery and otolaryngology (ENT) devascularizing these tumors can help make surgery safer and easier. There are also ongoing research protocols in which injecting chemotherapy directly into the arteries going into tumors may help reduce the risk of recurrence. Call now to see if you are a candidate.
